In order to eliminate confusion and ensure a successful install we have laid out a series of Pre installation protocols outlined below. 

 

1. Site Check form - Before the system is installed we require our sitecheck form to be completed to ensure the installation site meets the proper specifications.

  • Wall Backing Specifications

To coordinate a live video conference walk through of the install site with an Owandy Rep via smart phone video conference contact your manufacture rep or dealer rep to schedule. 

 

 

 

2. Logistics - Our Logistics department will be in contact to arrange shipment once site check form has been completed, we would need to know if the system will be sent directly to the practice or to different location first for storage before the installation date

 

 

Prepping for install


Network System communication: Unit communicates with PC via cat5 cable , IP scheme can be changed to match office network. 

 


Remote exposure button : 
 IMAX  2D is supplied with a coiled cable exposure button attached the control panel, System will not include a remote x-ray wall switch Contact dealer to order generic X-ray Deadman switch, the cable configuration that must be ran to install a dead man switch is just 2 wires that plug into the lower part of the of the column, opposite end of cables must be ran to where the doctor would like the dead man switch to be located.  


Supplies to install : Be sure to take a 110V plug with you on install, the cable does not have a plug as it is ready for hardwiring. Most of the systems bolts are Metric Allen bolts from 2mm to 8 mm. Mounting hardware for wood is not included with system , unit comes with bolts and anchors for concrete only not wood.
