Dark High Contrast Images Problem
Some Xray are very underexposed causing lines in the images ..... overexposed images show more than [X:120%] normally display dark
Images are very dark, even below [80%], because the “auto contrast” is enabled in the sensor setup. This option corrects for imperfect exposure. When the image is underexposed, even slightly, the “image processing” stretches the grey scale of the image to get better contrast (auto contrast or dynamic adjustment) Using the “film mode” in stead of "auto contrast" it’s is easier for user to obtain best quality imag, especially when not able to apply perfect exposure settings every exam
Enable "Film Mode" and Disable "Auto Contrast" Access sensor setup menu. If using Quickvision, select wrench icon on left pane and uncheck Auto Contrast and use Film Alike and save with disc icon. If using third party imaging software, double click the Owandy sensor standalone icon on the desktop with third party software closed. Right click on the red/green sensor toolbar and in the configuration, select Film Alike and save.
