Please see below video how to share and network Owandy QuickVision software

Steps here:

Server

1) Install Quickvision on the server PC as administrator (How to Install Quickvision)

2) Create a new folder on server called "QuickvisionDB"

3) Copy existing juliew folder (default location is in C:\juliew) to the new folder we have created above. NOTE: Copy the entire folder, not just the contents, into "QuickvisionDB"

4) Right click on QuickvisionDB and go to Properties - Security tab. Hit Edit. Select Add and manually enter "Everyone" . Assign the folder full permissions by selecting all the checkboxes under Allow. Hit ok.

5) From the same Properties window, go to Sharing, Advanced Sharing, Permissions, make sure Everyone is selected and select all checkboxes under Allow. Hit Ok and Apply.

6) Folder is now shared.

Workstation

1) Go to your network and find the shared folder. Map the folder (we assign Q if available).

2) Install Quickvision and select local drive for software installation, and Q driver for datas. NOTE: Again, in the video, Quickvision is already installed on all PC.

3) Open up Quickvision after installation.

4) Go to Setup on left hand side.

5) set X-ray files path to Q:\JULIEW\ ....hit the disc icon to save. Open the setup window again to confirm it has saved

6) Select About button. Confirm in the window the Data files path is set to Q:\JULIEW\DATAS ... if it is not, press CTRL + double click on the Data Files Path window, browse and select Q:\JULIEW\DATAS

Lastly, you can check if your installation was successful. If there is an existing database from the server with images, browse to a patient profile to confirm you can bring up existing images.

NOTE: In case you run into problems seeing the shared folder or browsing the network, check with your IT representative to make sure Network Sharing is enabled and all PCs have full rights to Quickvision.

TIP: Turn off User Account Control and make sure Quickvision is white listed within Anti-Virus
